A bit about me...

Animals are special to me, so I feel very lucky to volunteer for the charity Guide Dogs as a fosterer for dogs in training. As this photo shows, I am yet to perfect the 'dog selfie'! So far in 2026, my husband and I have enjoyed fostering a very sweet yellow Labrador x Golden Retriever for her Early Training in Leamington. She has now moved on and we will be welcoming a new furry house guest in July.

I enjoy holidays where I can get outdoors. The Lake District and Scotland top my list for mountain walks, lochs and lakes, nature, birdlife and delicious food and wine.

I love to get together with family and friends for a meal or to see a concert or musical. I've even been known to arrange singing sessions at home with friends every now and then. (It has to be said... the dogs aren't always that keen!)
