As a freelance proofreader and copywriter, I work with marketing agencies, in-house marketing teams and organisations to write, edit and proofread their communications, including magazines, brochures, newsletters, e-mail campaigns, business documents, websites and internal communications.
Before going freelance, I spent 15 years in marketing communications roles. In that time, I edited and proofread the customer magazine for Dollond & Aitchison Opticians (now part of Boots), proofread and signed off national advertising for Jessops, and wrote press releases and case studies for the home improvement brands Artex and Rawlplug.
While working in a full-service marketing agency, I supported Bosch with their publications. This involved writing, editing and proofreading a number of internal and external magazines on a regular basis.
